Gokhale Education Society (GES), Nashik, was founded in 1918 by Prin. T.A. Kulkarni with the motto "Above Self, Above Politics." The Society is ISO 9001:2015 certified for all its Schools, Colleges & Institutions and has completed 108 years of quality education (as of 2026).

GES operates across 04 zones and 20 centers with 140 institutes offering 240+ courses and 10 research centers. Institutional footprint includes senior and junior colleges, secondary/primary/pre-primary units, research centers, specialized and apex institutions, agricultural training centers, knowledge centres, and Anganwadi/Balwadi units. The Society publishes quality books and magazines and runs the research journal Swayam-prakash since 2008.

Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi College of Physiotherapy and HCM was established in 2018 as a Centenary Project of the Society (centenary initiatives spanning 2008–2018), starting the first Degree Programme in Physiotherapy from Academic Year 2018-19.
