From classroom to continuous clinical practice
Internship (Integrated Practice) is a distinct phase of the BPT programme. Structure is shown from the college source chart; attendance rules follow published examination criteria.
Programme context
BPT duration is 4 years 6 months (4.5 years including internship). Clinical learning builds through observational and supervised practice in earlier years before integrated internship practice.

Clinical attendance for internship certificate
Published examination / eligibility rules that govern internship completion.
Mandatory
100% attendance in clinical areas is required before issuing the Internship Completion Certificate.
- Overall performance & conduct during the entire academic year must be entirely satisfactory.
- Minimum 75% attendance in theory and 80% attendance in practical in each subject.
- Minimum passing: 70% for formative examination & 50% for the summative examination held at college.
- 100% attendance in clinical areas required before issuing Internship Completion Certificate.
